Mark Forbis
(Piano) |
Mark is an acquisitions specialist at the
Iowa State University Library. He performs for many musical shows around
central Iowa, and is the former creative director for the annual Heartland
Variety Show in Ames, IA. Mark retired from Iowa State in 2024 and has
moved to the great city of Chicago to further his musical progress. |
Lisa Merritt
(Vocals, Violin) |
Lisa is a small business owner and a classically
trained vocalist and stage actress. |
Steve Hurst
(Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Ukelele) |
Steve H. is a computer programmer at Data
Business Equipment in Des Moines and Iowa State Fair prize winner on guitar
and mandolin. |
Steve F. Russell
(Trumpet, Trombone, Leader) |
Steve R. is a retired ISU faculty member
from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and has extensive
experience playing New Orleans style traditional jazz. |
Sharon Brewer
(Reeds, Flute) |
Sharon had her own band called "Brewer Project,"
but had the time to join us many times. |
John Basart
(Drums) |
John is a retired ISU faculty member
from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and has extensive
experience playing New Orleans style traditional jazz. |
Jean Olson
(Bass) |
Jean is retired from Iowa State University |
